Cerdanya is also told through its cuisine
Cuina Pirinenca de Cerdanya is an association of restaurants working to preserve, share and promote mountain cuisine, local products and the gastronomic identity of the region.
Across villages, landscapes and seasons, Cerdanya’s cuisine continues to tell the story of a way of life connected to the Pyrenees.
The association
Our essence
Cerdanya is a unique territory in the Pyrenees, where landscape, climate and tradition define a gastronomic identity of its own.
The members of Cuina Pirinenca de Cerdanya share a way of understanding cuisine based on respect for produce, quality and a close connection with the territory, each one with its own personality and way of cooking.
We work to preserve and promote authentic, deeply rooted cuisine with a future.
Local products
Raw ingredients from the territory, seasonal products and producers who form part of Cerdanya’s gastronomic identity.
Mountain cuisine
Traditional recipes, Catalan cuisine and contemporary approaches connected to the Pyrenees.
Promotion of the territory
We promote Cerdanya as a leading gastronomic destination.

Shared gastronomy throughout the year
Cuina Pirinenca de Cerdanya takes part in gastronomic festivals, popular fairs, culinary events and local celebrations that help give visibility to Cerdanya’s cuisine and to the products of the territory.
These activities bring together restaurants, producers, chefs and the public around one shared idea: to enjoy and promote the gastronomy of Cerdanya through proximity, quality and a mountain identity.

Gastronomic fairs and culinary events
We organise and take part in events dedicated to showcasing Cerdanya’s cuisine through menus, dishes, products and experiences linked to each season.
